BRITISH billionaire and Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is currently in Victoria Falls on a private holiday.
Sir Jim, one of Britain’s wealthiest individuals and the founder of chemical giant INEOS, arrived at Victoria Falls International Airport on Saturday.
Sources close to the trip indicated that the tycoon would be in the resort city for eight days.
The visit by the high-profile businessman is seen as a major boost for the local tourism sector, which is still recovering from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Victoria Falls remains one of the country’s premier tourist destinations, renowned for its majestic waterfall and wildlife.
While the exact itinerary of Sir Jim’s stay remains a closely guarded secret, he is expected to enjoy the serene environment and the various attractions the city offers.
