DJ Irvine X is set to defend his title tonight at the second edition of the Carling Black Label DJ Clash finals set for the Hippodrome in Harare.

The young wheel-spinner is up against 25 other contestants drawn from eight regions across the country.

Organisers Delta Beverages have pegged the ultimate winner’s prize at US$3 000.

The winner will also take home a controller, Apple Macbook, studio monitor and a cordless microphone.

The runner-up will also get US$2 000, a studio monitor and a cordless microphone.

Hip hop sensation Saintfloew and Voltz JT have also been roped in to headline the after party.

Chillspot Records’ DJ Levels will also face off with Mushroom Media’s DJ Tamuka in an epic battle for bragging rights.

“The time to crown our ultimate Zimbabwe champion DJ is here.

“Carling Black Label recognises and rewards the champion within everyone.

“This campaign aims to uplift and showcase our champion DJs nationwide, who are leveraging their musical talent to build a brighter future for themselves,” said Delta Beverages marketing manager Irimayi Muzorewa.
