BABA GWERU GIVES HIS FANS AN XMAS SONG

JITI musician, Henry ‘Baba Gweru’ Musingarabwi, says he has released a Christmas song for his growing army of fans.

He told H-Metro he was inspired by the 35,000 views on YouTube for his song ‘Machururu,’ which was released last month.

Now, he has given his fans a Christmas song titled ‘Ngoma Kurira’.

The new song carries visuals and was produced by Martin Ncube (MTJ).

Baba Gweru is known for releasing songs, pregnant with energy, and associated with African culture.

These songs include ‘Kupisa’, ‘Mwana Iyeye’, ‘Ndikoko’, ‘Machururu.’

Baba Gweru gave his fans a sample of his new song on all his social media platforms.

The song was released yesterday.

TikTok challenges, related to the song, have already started.

The artist told H-Metro:

“My new song is for Christmas although l want to release another song for New Year but this one is for Jiti fans and it carries fireworks.

“I have other 20 single tracks that l want to release and l would like to tell my fans that we are not stopping anytime soon.

“Songs are like food, if you do not get food you will definItely get it from another house.

“I would like to thank my fans who support me and also thank those who helped me reach 35k, it has given me hope and inspiration.”
