IN A DRAMATIC turn of events a man who allegedly wanted to sexually attack a teenage girl met his match when the mother of the child allegedly sprung a shock demanding the man to sleep with her.
Mcebisi Ndebele (24) from Sidojiwe Flats in Bulawayo has been making several trips to court for allegedly assaulting Emmaculate Gozhorai (49) after she allegedly confronted him over why he wanted to sexually attack her daughter.
It is alleged that he reportedly punched her several times and the matter was reported to the police leading to the arrest of Ndebele.
The situation became dramatic when one of the defence witnesses Tracey Moyo stated that she witnessed Ndebele calling Gozhorai’s daughter to him.
Moyo further said the minor refused to come to him and rushed to report Ndebele to her mother.
Gozhorai arrived at the scene and fumed at Ndebele. Moyo told the court that Gozhorai charged at Ndebele telling him that her daughter is a minor and while they were staring at Gozhorai she allegedly pulled Ndebele to herself and opened her legs, forcing him to sleep with her.
Moyo added: “Gozhorai asked Ndebele why he wanted to sleep with her daughter instead of her. She told him that her daughter was young and said it was wiser for Ndebele to sleep with her. She pulled up her skirt and that’s when Ndebele pushed her away causing her to fall to the ground and fall unconscious.”
After that, Moyo said Gozhorai reported him for allegedly assaulting him. The court heard Ndebele fled and hid and was later arrested after police received a tip-off.
Ndebele was remanded out of custody to 6 December.
