End of the road for suspected car thieves

TWO suspected thieves were recently arrested on allegations of using duplicate car keys to steal four vehicles in separate incidents in Harare.
Denver Tinotenda Kazembe (26) of Warren Park and Edwin Mapako (37) of Mbare were this week denied bail at the High Court.
The duo is facing allegations of four counts of theft of motor vehicles. The four cars have since been recovered by detectives from the Vehicle Theft Squad.
According to the State, on July 20, 2024 at around 1:20 am, the duo stole a silver Honda Fit worth US$4 500 at Sunningdale 2 shops.
On August 3 at around 2:20 am, they stole a blue Honda Fit at Kuwadzana 6 Gazzlers Nite Club.
On the same day around 10:20 pm, they stole a silver Honda Fit from Xing Xeng Nite Club in Belgravia, Harare
On the fourth count on May 3 at around 11:30 pm, they stole a beige Toyota Corolla worth US$1 250 at Xing Xeng Nite Club in Belgravia, Harare.
