Your career is decorated by countless acts of heroism, resourcefulness and professionalism. The leadership, support and trust building you have exhibited within the community has earned you the respect and admiration of colleagues and citizens alike. Allow me to quote the Bible in the book of Proverbs 22 vs 1 which says; โ€˜A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favour rather than silver and goldโ€™, highlighting that, a noble character distinguished by exemplary integrity creates a good reputation, thereby earning one the profound admiration and esteem to the community at large,โ€ he said.

Commissioner Nyathi encouraged other police officers to follow Insp Ncubeโ€™s exemplary leadership.
โ€œWe have been fortunate to witness and learn from Inspector Ncubeโ€™s exemplary service. The indispensable values, principles and accomplishments, he has exemplified will continue to guide us. Let us carry forward the legacy of excellence, integrity and dedication he has set,โ€ he said.

โ€œAs we stand here, we bear witness to a journey that has been marked by unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership and a profound commitment to serving our community. From the first day you joined the force to the last day you are exiting, you have consistently exceeded expectations setting unmatched standards of excellence starting as a beat cop and ending as a police corporate communications officer.
Your unwavering commitment to justice and fairness has left an enduring legacy on our force. You have always gone above and beyond to protect and serve the citizens of our city, tirelessly working to create a safer and more just community for all,โ€ he said.

Commissioner Makamache said Insp Ncube was a great exponent of community policing and had forged close ties with local residents.
โ€œThroughout your tenure, you have demonstrated an unwavering belief in the power of community policing. You recognize that true safety and security come from fostering strong relationships between law enforcement and the people we serve. Your ability to connect with residents and build trust has been instrumental in bridging the gap between our organisation and the community. Your exceptional leadership qualities have been evident in every aspect of your service,โ€ he said.
Commissioner Makamache also praised Insp Ncube for inspiring a spirit of professionalism among those he worked closely with.

โ€œYou have consistently inspired and motivated your team, creating a culture of accountability, professionalism, and compassion. As you embark on this new chapter which is retirement, we are confident that you will continue to soar to even greater heights,โ€ he said.
