HIGHLANDERS signed young striker Calvin Chigonero from Zifa Southern Region Division One side Talen Vision on a US$7 000 fee amid revelations that his previous handlers have put a sale-on clause should the player make a move to another club.
Better known as Kung Fu Panda, Chigonero was last season on loan to Bosso from the Filabusi-based Zifa Southern Region Division One side Talen Vision. “We have sold Chigonero to Highlanders. However, I can’t confirm whether we sold him at a figure of US$ 7 000 or not. All I can say is that we have put in a sale-on clause.
“Chigonero is a young striker and as a club, we are bound to benefit from his next possible move. As such the player has permanently moved to Bosso but in terms of gains, we are still yet to agree on everything,” said Talen Vision chairman Elton Sinyosi.
So far, Bosso has signed Marvin Sibanda on a three-year contract. The 25-year-old played for Little Rock Rangers FC in the States. The Little Rock Rangers FC is an American soccer team based in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Also, Bosso acquired the services of 24-year-old attacking midfielder Brian Ndlovu from Adachi FC on a three-year deal.
Last week, Bosso announced the capture of the duo of Reason Sibanda, who was at Arenel Movers and Brian Mlotshwa from Hwange. Sibanda scored eight goals for Arenel last season, while Mlotshwa was a vital cog in the Hwange back line.
Mvelo Khoza has been promoted to the first team from Bosso90. In this same window, Highlanders have terminated the contracts of strikers Stanley Ngala and Wellington Navaya.
