MISTER Tourism World Zimbabwe, Hillary Haym Mandaba, will represent the country at the international Mister Tourism World (MTW) to be held next month in Vietnam.
The eighth edition will be held from February 12 to 20.
Mandaba told H-Metro he was looking for help from various stakeholders or organisations to sponsor his trip.
In an interview, Mandaba said he wants to showcase the beauty of Zimbabwe.
“I am honoured to announce that I will be representing Zimbabwe as Mister Tourism World Zimbabwe at the prestigious Mister Tourism World (MTW) competition, taking place in Vietnam next month.
“As I prepare for this esteemed event, I am focusing on a holistic approach to ensure I am mentally and physically ready.
“Mentally, I am working on building my confidence and self-assurance through positive affirmations, visualisation techniques, physically, I am intensifying my fitness regimen, which includes a combination of cardio, strength training, and flexibility exercises, as well as a balanced diet to fuel my body.
“I am particularly excited about the Mister Tourism World (MTW ) experience, which promises to be a unique and enriching adventure.
“I look forward to immersing myself in the rich culture of Vietnam, learning about the country’s history and traditions and showcasing the beauty and diversity of Zimbabwe to a global audience.”
He added:
“I am also eager to meet and learn from fellow contestants from around the world, sharing our experiences and perspectives on tourism and cultural exchange.
“As Mister Tourism World Zimbabwe, I am proud to represent my country and promote its tourism industry on the world stage.
“I am committed to being an ambassador for Zimbabwe’s rich cultural heritage, stunning natural beauty, and warm hospitality.
“I would like to extend my gratitude to the MTW organisation, my national directors (Shepherd Chinyuku and Chris Ncube), family, friends, and my team for their support and guidance throughout this journey.
