MINISTER MAHENDERE TO CLOSE THE YEAR IN STYLE

AWARD-WINNING gospel musician, Minister Michael Mahendere, and his Direct Worship group will end the year in style by hosting a solo concert at the East End Hall, Harare Showgrounds, on Monday.

Dubbed “Outcry Experience- Messiah,” Minister Mahendere said the show is expected to quench the thirst of gospel music lovers just a few days before Christmas.

In an interview, Minister Mahendere said the Outcry Experience is a time for them to offer the best music experience to his legions of fans.

“I am very excited to be leading gospel music lovers into intense worship and a deep praise experience as we will be celebrating life and thanking God for his love and kindness throughout this year.

“The show is about us just checking how far we have grown in running our own events and also with the pool of songs we have, we don’t perform most of them at other concerts, leaving our fans unsatisfied.

“So, this is the only place and time we build our sets in a way that we satisfy everyone.

“They will be able to experience all our hit songs and those they don’t know. That is why we do an Outcry event.

“Last year it was oversubscribed and we had to turn people away because of the space.

“People come from as far as Mutare, Marondera and other cities, most of them have confirmed that they are coming again this year.

“Worship leaders, pastors and everyone from all walks of life will be there.”

In July, Minister Mahendere hosted a three-day show “July Worship Music Festival” (JWMF) and it was a successful concert.

He has had a busy and very successful year in which he has also entertained his legion of fans who are based in foreign lands.
