THE Zimbabwe Mass Media Trust (ZMMT) yesterday sent a condolence message to the Nyathi family following the death of historian, Pathisa Nyathi.

Nyathi died in Bulawayo last week at the age of 73.

In a statement, ZMMT chairman Advocate Honour Mkushi said: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mr Pathisa Nyathi, a cherished custodian of history and culture whose contributions have enriched us all.

“His dedication to preserving our heritage and his wisdom will be missed by many. May his legacy continue to inspire, and may the Lord comfort his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.”

Adv Mkushi added that the ZMMT has lost an invaluable resource in Nyathi, who he described as a humble, dependable and esteemed colleague.
