Zimbabwe unveils first humanoid robot

Zimbabwe’s first humanoid robot is set to be unveiled in the coming few hours at the University of Zimbabwe campus.
The robot named Sophia has near human resemblance, language competency, movement and navigation using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computer vision capabilities.


This robot with female features was developed by Hanson Robotics team in collaboration with UZ computer and AI researchers.
