ALICK Macheso has assured his fans in South Africa that their two shows in Johannesburg and Pretoria scheduled for this weekend will go according to plan amid reports that they had been called off.

Macheso’s management reacted swiftly to the reports and dropped a promotional video allaying the fears.

“On the 26th of October, we are coming to Jo’burg for a show at Baseline and on Sunday we are performing in Pretoria,” said Macheso in the video.

“There were reports that we will no longer make it to South Africa but you must hear from the horse’s mouth.
We are coming there with the entire band. The whole team is raring to go and fans should brace for new stuff. We are coming for this party in full force as Orchestra Mberikwazvo.”

Macheso is one of the biggest crowd-pullers in Johannesburg where he hardly disappoints on stage.

With a growing population of Zimbabweans resident in South Africa, Macheso has a big fan base across the Limpopo.
Macheso has also managed to win the hearts of South African nationals, especially in Limpopo, Gauteng Province, and Cape Town where he normally attracts big numbers.

He has been promoting his 12th album ‘Kupa Kuturika’, which has been embraced by his fans.
