THE festive season is in full swing, and with it comes the promise of laughter and merriment.
Comedy fans in Bulawayo are to get ready to usher in the holiday cheer with a night of unbridled comedy, courtesy of Harare-based comedians Mukudzei Kandoro Majoni, affectionately known as King Kandoro, and his trusty sidekick, Tanyaradzwa “Tanya Alex” Alexandrah Sena.

The dynamic duo will be touching base in Bulawayo as part of King Kandoro’s “Kandoro Properganda World Tour,” which promises to bring the house down at Cotton Lounge tomorrow.
Joining forces with the visiting comedians will be Bulawayo’s pint-sized comedy sensation, Dumisani “MaForty” Ndlovu.

Fresh from slaying the comedy scene in Johannesburg, South Africa, King Kandoro returns to his old stomping ground in Bulawayo, where he and MaForty have consistently left audiences in stitches.
After Bulawayo, the “Properganda” train will make a pit stop in Victoria Falls before chugging along to Harare just in time for Christmas.
In an interview with Chronicle Showbiz, MaForty assured comedy enthusiasts that Friday’s show will be an unforgettable experience.

“So far, all is going well, and ticket sales are moving. We urge people to get them early to avoid disappointment. Comic heads should expect new material from me,” he teased.
MaForty, the mastermind behind the Kontuthu Comedy Festival has been making waves in the comedy circuit, staging one-man shows and flying the Zimbabwean flag high in the region.
His recent performances in foreign lands have broadened his horizons, and he is eager to share his newfound insights with Bulawayo.

“Performing in foreign lands is always an eye-opener. Seeing what other comedians are up to and getting to share tips and experiences makes you better the next time you’re on stage,” he revealed.
With the festive season offering a plethora of entertainment options, fun-lovers are spoilt for choice.
This Friday, however, Cotton Lounge is the place to be, as King Kandoro, Tanya Alex, and MaForty bring the funny and get Bulawayo laughing all the way into the new year. – @MbuleloMpofu
