THE Zimbabwe Progressive Youth Foundation (ZPYP) is set to hold a Bulawayo Business Expo that is expected to provide a unique platform for local businesses to showcase their products and services.

The highly anticipated event will take place on 27 and 29 October at the Large City Hall.

ย ZPYP is an organisation that focuses on entrepreneurship development and offers support services to startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Additionally, they provide corporate event management services, making them a well-rounded resource for businesses in the region.

In an interview, ZPYP founder and director Thabani Madhlayo Moyo said the Bulawayo Business Expo sought to create an environment where businesses could engage with the public and gain valuable insights into their clients’ preferences.

โ€œBy interacting directly with potential customers, businesses will have the opportunity to understand their target market better and tailor their offerings accordingly. One of the highlights of the expo is the ‘brand on stage’ initiative, which promotes brand visibility.

โ€œParticipating businesses will have the chance to make a permanent mark for their brands by showcasing them on stage,โ€ said Moyo.

He said the expo would enhance brand recognition and create a lasting impression on attendees.

โ€œTo participate in the Bulawayo Business Expo, each business is required to pay a participation fee of US$50 for the two-day event. In return, they will be provided with a 3×3 square meter space to set up their gazebos, allowing them to display their products and services effectively.

โ€œIt is important to note that businesses are responsible for bringing their own marketing materials and banners to create an attractive and engaging booth.

“The Bulawayo Business Expo promises to be a significant event for local businesses, offering them a platform to showcase their offerings, engage with potential customers, and gain valuable insights into their target market,โ€ said Moyo.

He said with the support of the ZPYP, the event was set to contribute to the growth and development of entrepreneurship in the region.

โ€œThose businesses interested in participating in the Bulawayo Business Expo are encouraged to contact us for further details and registration,โ€ he said.
