THE Castle Lager Premier Soccer League has released the 2023fixtures amid revelations that action is set to resume on 18March.

“The 2023 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season is set to commence on Saturday 18 March 2023. Please be advised that Ascot Stadium and Vengere Stadium have failed to meet the minimum stadium requirements as set by the ZIFA Club Licensing First Instance Body. The stadia will not host PSL matches until the necessary requirements are met,” said PSL spokesperson Kudzai Bare.

This year’s action in the country’s elite football league will start a week after Castle Lager Challenge Cup that will see four-time league champions FC Platinum do duty against rebuilding Bulawayo Chiefs at Mandava Stadium. The Challenge Cup is a season’s opener that features PSL titlewinners and the Chibuku Super Cup champions.

Bulawayo Chief edged Herentals 1-0 in last year’s ChibukuSuper Cup final that was played at Barbourfields Stadium.
