TO many for Highlanders steely defender Peter Muduhwa this has been a week that has been punctuated with sad news for he was on Tuesday hit with a four games ban by the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League disciplinary committee.
Add to that, according to a ruling on a disciplinary hearing conducted on September 26, Muduhwa was found guilty of inciting violence during Bosso and Dynamos match at Barbourfields Stadium and he is also expected to pay a US$500 fine.
As if that was not enough, the combative Bosso vice-captain is now out of the running for local elite football leagueโs Soccer Stars of The Year.
The selection rules disqualify any player charged and found guilty by the PSL disciplinary committee during the season under review.
However, little known to hordes of people is that this was also a week that the Warriors centreback also found joy as he was blessed with a second born baby boy named Kylian Olwethu Muduhwa.
A joyful Muduhwa took to his Facebook page on Thursday night to announce the good news.ย
โBaby Kylian Olwethu Muduhwa. Thank you, father God, for this blessing. A new member has arrived to the family. Asibonge umdeni uyakhula (Lets be grateful, the family is growing). We love our son,โ posted the defender.ย
The Pumula-bred footie star is married to Siphathisiwe Gumede and they were blessed with their first-born child named Luthando Junior on 18 January 2021.ย
While to all fathers, having a first-son is special and every father wants to cradle their little bundle of joy and manly pride for all the world to see and envy, for Muduhwa it was temporarily not to be.
At Bosso he is one of the three clubโs captains. He is the first deputy to goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda. The other vice skipper is Mbongeni Ndlovu.
