AFRO-FUSION musician Clement Magwaza of the Kokotsha Makokotsha fame is set to entertain fans at a potentially explosive birthday bash for radio personality Sibonginkosi “Bongi Diamond” Maphosa set for Nketa 7 Tavern on 4 March.
Magwaza will be will be joined in the celebrations by other local artistes including Nyambi Stars and Lights Wako Bulawayo among other local dance groups.
In an interview Magwaza promised fireworks saying all was set for the birthday bash adding that he was ready to entertain his fans.
“All is set for this big event which has been organised to celebrate the birthday of the radio personality Bongi Diamond and we are urging all music fans to come in their numbers to join us as we celebrate her birthday in style. We are thanking her for all the support she is giving us as artistes from the Matabeleland region.
“I am also promising my fans a top of the drawer performance on the day as a way of honouring them as they supported me and they continue to stand by my side since the time I ventured into the music industry. They (fans) should come in their numbers and witness one of our best performances,” said Magwaza.
Maphosa who was full of praise for the support she got from the organisers said preparations were under way describing the event as a no-miss show.
“I want to thank the organisers who have faith in me for organising this event for me. It will be a double celebration for me considering that Magwaza, Nyambi Stars and Lights Wako Bulawayo among other artistes will be taking turns to entertain fans. As you can see from the line-up the organisers have left no stone unturned in providing entertainment on my special day,” said Maphosa.
