Multi award-winning artiste, Msiz’Kay, real name Sizalobuhle Nkomo, will hold a concert on 6 May as part of a campaign to raise funds to build his house.

Msiz’Kay won the People’s Choice Award at the 2022 Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards and the gong was sponsored by TCI International Private Limited Company, who gave the rapper a residential stand in Emganwini, officially handed over to him on 23 February.

Dubbed #IndluKaMrapper #LetsBuildMyHome campaign, the concert is not only focused on raising funds, good Samaritans who can sponsor with building material are being asked to help the muso out.

“This initiative is a great step towards inspiring corporates and the public to lend more support to artistes and the arts industry in Bulawayo and it is also a means of inspiring other artistes to become home-owners,” said Msiz’Kay.

He said his plan was to secure funding and partners in the coming weeks leading up to the concert, who will help him to plan the concert well.

“I already have a few companies that have confirmed their sponsorship and others who have expressed interest towards the campaign.

“After securing sponsors prior to the announcement of the concert, the GoFundMe online platform will be open for all supporters from other countries to support the initiative,” said Msiz’Kay.
