It’s a dream come true!
Bulawayo energetic Gospel musician, Sipho “Snowy” Ncube, is closer to realising his dream as the Izibusiso hitmaker will be travelling to the United Kingdom in May for the first time in his career — thanks to his music gift that has opened doors for him.
Snowy, who is a praise and worship leader at Harvest House International Church (HICC), will be one of the headlining acts at the Grateful Experience UK concert slated for 31 May.
The Grateful Experience UK is an annually held gospel music event that brings together talented artistes from around the world to celebrate faith, music and community.
The event has become a highly anticipated fixture on the UK gospel music calendar.
On its third edition, the Gospel event will be hosted by Elena Makombe, with performances coming from Snowy, Blessing Jeduthun, Heavens Mutambira, South African multi-award-winning songstress Lebo Sekgobela and many more.
Snowy, who is the first artiste from Bulawayo to headline the Grateful Experience UK said he was over the moon to be fully representing the city of Kings as a Psalmist on an international stage.
As it is also the first time for him to visit and perform in the UK, he said it is a significant milestone in his career to perform and spread the word of God out of Africa.
“The Bible says: ‘When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen.’ There is this thing called anointing, and people carry different grace and anointing. Maybe this time, they needed the specific grace I’m carrying, not because I’m better or anything, but because God has ordained it for me at this moment.”
“It’s an honour to be showcasing my gift on such a world stage and I believe the international dream came to fruition because of patience and perseverance. I am looking forward to praise and worship with the people in the UK as I will represent Bulawayo to the fullest,” said Snowy.
Snowy has proven to be a young creative with a passion for decorating his music career through different event appearances and winning awards.
Amongst numerous awards he has won, Snowy is the Skyz Metro FM Award winner for Best Newcomer in 2019. He also boasts numerous Bulawayo Arts Awards (BAA) nominations.
In his career, he has shared the stage with South Africa’s MTN Joyous celebration as well as Spirit of Praise.
