FOUNDER of Group Therapy Community and Amapiano Festivals, Vuyisile Mdlovu, has ventured into business that has seen him open on Saturday a KoNtuthu Tshisanyama spot at Eyadini.
He said the joint will be open to the public every weekend and he was thrilled about the official opening of his business venture.
“Well, for the past year I have been hosting the Yanos Fest at Eyadini. As a result, we then saw potential in the place to become a regular chill spot or hangout. We thought of something different from Amapiano, so we anchored our brand on the prevailing Shisanyama culture in Southern Africa and also the growing return of deep house music. We are looking forward to being the number one weekend chill spot in the city, “said Ndlovu.
He added: “We will find a way to make it happen. This speaks to the fact that KoNtuntu Tshisanyama and The Yanos Fest are two separate entities and brands. On the Yanos Fest, we will stick to our roadmap, which entails a show in Harare next month then one in Bulawayo in August.”
The last Amapiano Festival had a ekasi flavour as it was held at Pumula South’s Kruger Chill Spot
