DJ Yugoe and Msiz’Kay join forces

Plumtree-bred multi-award-winning music producer Dumisani Magalane also known as DJ Yugoe is set to drop a single titled Imikhuleko Kamama on Friday which features all-rounder creative Msiz’ Kay.

The Afro-House single Imikhuleko Kamama loosely translates to “mother’s prayer.” Msiz’ Kay said the joint effort was an appreciation song and a dedication to all the prayerful mothers.

“We rarely pray for ourselves as youths, instead we go about and do our businesses without prayer. All our blessings come from our mothers, who are always on their knees praying for us,” said Msiz’Kay.

DJ Yugoe

The Kulula hitmaker said this was his first collaboration with DJ Yugoe. “I met DJ Yugoe at an occasion in Plumtree and we discussed about the music we wanted to make together. It was this year when we sealed that agreement and I am happy we kick-started our music relationship with Imikhuleko Kamama,” said Msiz’Kay.

This is not the first time for DJ Yugoe to work with artistes from Bulawayo. He has worked with multi-award-winning DJ Skaiva, Afro-Soul songstress Thandi Dhlana and Khwezi.
