Women in politics converge to celebrate achievements

Women in politics have convened at a Harare hotel for an event that is being hosted by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation to celebrate women’s achievements.

The event is themed “History of Women’s Political Participation in Zimbabwe: A reflection and Celebration”.

Herald Editor Victoria Ruzvidzo is the convener of the workshop.

Among those in attendance are the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises, Dr Mavis Sibanda, Zanu PF Women’s League Political Commissar Maybe Mbowa, Women’s League Secretary for Finance Tsitsi Mugabe, MDC-T vice president Pauline Mupariwa, Lead president Linda Masarira, and CCC Senator Thokozani Khupe.
