Seek God with all your heart

GREETINGS, beloved nation, in the name of Jesus Christ! Jeremiah 29:13 says, “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”

But how do we, as believers, seek God with our whole heart? If you’re unsure how to pursue God wholeheartedly, rest assured, you are not alone. God sees you and understands your journey!

If your aim is to genuinely seek Him, you will find Him. Have patience with your spiritual growth and trust that “he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6). Seeking God with your whole heart involves the following:

1. Approach God with Reverence: Seeking God begins with an attitude of fear, reverence, awe and worship. He is the all-powerful, all-knowing God, Creator of the universe, fully deserving of our praise. God created us for a relationship with Him and desires our full devotion and adoration. Remind yourself of just how worthy of praise He truly is. To seek Him with your whole heart, consider reducing the “worship” you give to worldly distractions — such as the latest music, celebrities or television dramas — and instead, dedicate more worship to God.

2. Seek with Humility and Repentance: A humble and repentant heart is essential. The Bible tells us in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” This passage reveals a profound truth: we must initiate our contact with God.

As we seek, draw near and ask, we will discover Him. By demonstrating sincerity and intensity in our seeking, we can experience direct contact with God and Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

Ladies and gentlemen, one personal secret I’ve learned in my walk with the Lord is that I must actively seek Him and His ways. If you are not willing to invest quality time in developing an active, dynamic relationship with Him, you will likely experience little spiritual or supernatural activity from God.

The Scriptures illustrate that we are responsible for initiating this seeking. There is a spiritual law at work in God’s kingdom: the law of seeking. When you seek after God, you will find Him.

The more you seek God, the deeper  and stronger your relationship with Him becomes.

I believe there is a direct relationship between the quality and intensity of your seeking and how much God will engage with you. The deeper and more passionately you pursue God, the more He will draw near to you!

In this season, a cry resonates in the Heavens; God is calling the church to enter deeper dimensions of faith. Seeking God with all your heart means pursuing a profound relationship rather than a superficial one.

In Genesis 5:21-24, we learn about Enoch, a man who hungered for deep intimacy with God. His relationship was so profound that God decided to take him up. This is the kind of spirit God seeks in these end times before the return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

I invite you to receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that He is your Lord and Saviour and you shall be saved. May God bless you all. Amen.
