UNITED Kingdom-based gospel artist, Acqueline Mbengwa Mudombozi, is a woman on a mission to uplift others in society through preaching the word of God and spreading love to different communities.
Mudombozi, who is known for hit songs such as ‘Makanaka Mambo Jeso’, ‘Healing Rain Reggae Cover’ featuring Lazzy T, and ‘Mhinduro Yangu’, said there was a time in her life when life was very hard.
She turned to God who uplifted her and, since then, she has devoted her life to spreading the good gospel to different communities, through music.
Speaking from her base in the UK, Mudombozi said:
“Being a gospel musician is a calling to me, so it is my duty to have an impact on people’s lives.
“This year I am going to work hard so that I have a positive impact on different people’s lives and bring them closer to God.
“God saved my life when I was at my lowest point in life, I saw His hand in my life, so I saw it fit to sing songs of praises and hope my music will change other people’s lives and bring them closer to God.”
Having started her musical career in 2019, Mudombozi has managed to release two studio albums to date which are ‘Ndiye Mambo,’ released in 2020, and ‘Week 10 Studios,’ released in 2021.
‘Week 10 Studios’ is an eight-track album.
She has also released a host of singles and, in many of them, she collaborated with Lazzy T.
Last year she released the song ‘Mhinduro Yangu,’ which is currently a favourite of many gospel music fans.
