Ndebele steps down as PSL boss

LONG-SERVING Premier Soccer League (PSL) chief executive officer Kenny Ndebele has stepped down as the secretariat of the top-flight league.

His resignation takes effect on Friday.

Ndebele is vying for the post of ZIFA vice presidency in elections set for Saturday.

PSL confirmed Ndebele’s resignation in a statement this morning.

“The Premier Soccer League (PSL) wishes to inform all stakeholder that the PSL chief executive officer Kenny Ndebele has resigned from his position, effective 24 January 2025.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ndebele for his outstanding leadership and dedicated service to the PSL. His contributions were crucial in driving the league’s growth and achieving its success. We wish his all the best in his future endeavours,” said Kudzai Bare, the PSL communications and media liaison officer.

Bare said Rodwell Thabe will assume the role of acting PSL CEO to ensure the continued smooth operation of the league.
