FC PLATINUM bade farewell to their captain, Rainsome Pavari, who is reportedly close to joining Manica Diamonds.

However, Pavari says his destination is unclear at the moment.

The player is believed to be on the radar of several teams but Manica Diamonds are the favourites to get his signature.

“I am grateful for the opportunities I have had at FC Platinum and I appreciate the experience and growth I have undergone during my time here. However, I am still considering my options and haven’t made a decision on my next step,” said Pavari.

During his time with FC Platinum, Pavari won a championship medal in the 2019 season and did well under coach Norman Mapeza last season.

The former champions have also let go of Donald Teguru.

“Join us in bidding a heartfelt farewell to Donald ‘Spanner’ Teguru. Your time with us has been extra-ordinary, marked by numerous accolades. From leading us to the 2021/22 Championship with FC Platinum to triumphing in the Castle Challenge Cup in 2021 and 2023 and the Chibuku Super Cup in 2021, your contributions have been invaluable. Your legacy of excellence will always be remembered. As you embark on your next journey, we wish you continued success and happiness. Farewell, Spanner,” read a statement from FC Platinum.

Meanwhile, Scottland have confirmed the signing of Nathan Mutasa (21).

The youngster played for French lower league side, US Torcy.

Mutasa was part of the Young Warriors squad, which took part in the Cosafa U-17 tournament in 2018.

Championship winning coach Tonderai Ndiraya has also been officially unveiled as the new head coach of Scottland FC.

Ndiraya takes over from Genesis Mangombe whose future is uncertain.

The appointment comes on the heels of Ndiraya’s remarkable success with Simba Bhora who won their first league title last season.

Ndiraya’s decision to leave Simba Bhora, has however raised eyebrows.

The appointment of Ndiraya coincides with a flurry of high-profile signings at Scottland FC, including the recent acquisition of star player, Khama Billiat.

The club is also reportedly on the verge of securing the services of several other top players, including Peter Muduhwa, Lynoth Chikuhwa, Godfrey Makaruse, Walter Musona and Marvelous Chigumira.
