So what if I’m a tout, ex-footie

HIS job puts food on the table for his family but a former Highlanders player takes offence when associated with the trade.
Lincoln Siwela is eking a living by working as an “assistant” to a malayitsha (cross-border trader).

His job is to offload groceries and household goods from his boss’ Toyota Quantum for distribution at clients’ homes.

When B-Metro Sport bumped into him at Barbourfields Stadium, he took offence when asked how he was doing at his new job.
“So what if I’m now a tout, as long as it (job) gives me money what business is it to anyone?

“You guys (media) never write anything good about me, it’s always the bad things,” charged a visibly upset Siwela.

He threatened to team up with his friends and assault the journalists.

The former Bosso player is not new to controversy.

In 2014, he was fined for indecent assault after he grabbed and kissed a till operator in a Bulawayo supermarket.
For the offence he was dragged before a magistrate and pleaded guilty to the charges.
