All is set for the third edition of the Meat and Braai food expo as BBQ and steak lovers are set to come together at the Barn in Hillside on 4 March for the much-anticipated event, which happens every quarter of the year.
The food expo is organised by the Braai Master, a food catering entity that has passion and love for braai-ing meat to its most succulent and delicious taste, owned by food enthusiast Bruce Tendai Dube.
Dube said the preparations for the event were going on smoothly.
“Preparations for the event are going on well as we are doing final touches on a few things. Even though they are a bit stressful, we hope that everything will go as planned.
“In this edition, we are hoping to focus more on the quality of food and service so as to create a mouthwatering experience for all meat lovers. We are also going to focus a bit more on brand visibility and branding compared to the last two editions we had before.
“People should expect a fun- filled expo and a better experience. We are also trying to work with up-and-coming artistes who want to perfect their art and putting their works out there. This is also something that patrons should brace for,” said Dube.
He hopes that some day the Meat and Braai expo will become a celebrated food festival.
“We hope that one day Meat and Braai will turn into a celebrated food festival. For now, it’s all about getting people that appreciate and love BBQ meals together, immerse them in the experience of quality food and service engulfed with entertainment, beverages coupled with an appealing venue,” he said.
Advance tickets for the event are US$5 while tickets for squad goals that cover five people are going for US$20. Cooler boxes attract US$10.
